Making the PYP HappenIB PYP Regional Workshop BSingaporeApril 28 - 30, 2012IB PYP Workshop Leaders: Trish Curtain & Alison Rees
This wiki has been set up for all the participants of workshop to record your thinking and experiences and to share them with your colleagues.

In order to make this a more environmentally sustainable activity, we'd like to try and make this as much of a paperfree workshop as possible. With this in mind, we've created the following pages for our thinking and encourage you to use them as much as possible. More pages will be added as we need them.
There are ten pages already set up. You can access them by clicking on the link over on the navigation bar to the right of this page.
Every page has 4 sections:
  • Page
  • Discussion
  • History, and
  • Notify Me
The 2 main sections that we will be using are the Page and Discussion.
  • The Pagesection is where we can upload activity brainstorms, photos, graphic organisers etc.
  • The Discussion section is where an on-going dialogue can be kept on different topics.

The Things to Bring page is exactly that. Please go onto this page before the workshop to see the list of documents that you'll need to bring (preferably electronically). All of these can be uploaded from the OCC. You'll also find the readings for this workshop. Please read the Ernest Boyer article, "An Educated Person" before the workshop.

The All About Me page is for introductions. Please go onto this page before the workshop and introduce yourself. A photo being uploaded would be great.

The Wonderwall page is for questions. Your pre-workshop questions have already been added to this page.

The Strategies & Toolkit page is a place for us to record the inquiry and thinking strategies that we use throughout the workshop. This is then available for all to access after the event.

The My Thinking page is for reflections and "Ah ha" moments.

The Useful page is for listing of resources, websites, etc. that other teachers might find "useful".

The Feedback page is for you to give me ideas as to how you feel the workshop is going. Your pre-workshop responses to the question "This workshop will be a success for me if . . ." have already been loaded.

The Readings page contains the articles that we will be using through the workshop. This will also have the MTPYPH Supplementary Workbook which we'd like everyone to upload to their computer.

The Workshop Activities page is where we will file activities and templates that we will use throughout the workshop.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
